Thrive EBS ("Thrive," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website located at explorethrive.com (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you access or use our Platform, subscribe to our services, participate in our partner programs, or otherwise interact with us.
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the Platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in several ways, depending on how you interact with the Platform.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account and Profile Information. When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business information (such as business name, business type, and industry).
- Subscription and Payment Information. When you subscribe to a paid tier (Micro Business or Small Business), we collect billing details necessary to process your payment. Payment card information is processed and stored by our third-party payment processors, Stripe and PayPal, through our Paid Memberships Pro integration. We do not directly store your full credit card number on our servers.
- Partner Application Information. If you apply as a Small Business Resource Organization (SBRO), Vendor, or Ambassador, we collect additional business information submitted through our partner application forms, including business credentials, contact details, and relevant qualifications.
- Assessment and Learning Data. When you participate in courses or complete business assessments on the Platform, we collect your responses, quiz answers, course progress, and completion records.
- When you contact us via email, support requests, or other channels, we collect the content of those communications along with any information you choose to provide.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, content viewed, time spent on pages, click patterns, features used, and navigation paths.
- Content Engagement Data. We track which posts, articles, and resources you read, your time on page, and your engagement with Thrive Deals Marketplace listings.
- Gamification and Activity Data. Through our GamiPress integration, we collect data on your activity on the Platform, including points earned, badges earned, streaks maintained, and other achievement-related metrics.
- Referral and Affiliate Data. If you participate in or are referred through our referral and affiliate program, we collect data related to referral sources, referral links used, and associated conversion activity.
- Device and Technical Information. We collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, referring URLs, and general location information derived from your IP address.
- Cookie and Tracking Data. We collect information through cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 4 below.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
- Payment Processors. Sidglo, Stripe, PayPal, and other providers may provide us with limited transaction information, such as payment confirmation, subscription status, and transaction identifiers.
- Pay Zero. If you sign up for Pay Zero through Thrive, transaction-related information may be shared between Sidglo and Thrive as necessary to provide support.
- Partner Organizations. SBROs, Vendors, and Ambassadors may provide information about their small businesses or referrals in connection with the Platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Providing and Operating the Platform. To create and manage your account, process subscriptions, deliver access to your selected tier (Free, Micro Business, or Small Business), and provide the features and services available on the Platform, including the Thrive Deals Marketplace, Enhanced Business Services (EBS), community features, and others.
- Payment Processing. To process subscription payments and manage billing.
- Learning and Development. To deliver course content, track your learning progress, record assessment results, and provide personalized educational recommendations.
- To operate a gamification system, including awarding points, tracking badges and streaks, recording achievements, and displaying leaderboards or progress indicators.
- Partner Program Administration. To evaluate partner applications, manage SBRO, Vendor, and Ambassador relationships, and administer referral and affiliate program tracking and compensation.
- To tailor content, deals, recommendations, and the overall user experience based on your profile, preferences, activity, and engagement history.
- To send you service-related notices, subscription confirmations, renewal reminders, security alerts, and, where you have opted in, promotional communications about Platform features and partner offers.
- Analytics and Improvement. To analyze usage patterns, content engagement, and Platform performance in order to improve our services, develop new features, and enhance the user experience.
- Security and Fraud Prevention. To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity and to protect the rights, property, and safety of Thrive, our users, and our partners.
- Legal Compliance. To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 Service Providers and Processors
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
- Payment processors (Sidglo, Stripe, PayPal) for subscription billing and transaction processing.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (SiteGround) for website hosting, caching, and performance optimization.
- Analytics providers for understanding Platform usage and performance.
- Email and communication service providers for delivering transactional and, where applicable, marketing communications.
These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to perform services for us and in accordance with applicable law.
3.2 Partner Ecosystem
- SBROs, Vendors, and Ambassadors. We may share limited information with our partner organizations as necessary to facilitate the services they provide through the Platform, including referral tracking and deal fulfillment. The specific information shared depends on the nature of the partner relationship and the services involved.
- Thrive Deals Marketplace. When you engage with a deal or offer on the Marketplace, certain information may be shared with the relevant Vendor to facilitate the transaction or redemption.
3.3 Referral and Affiliate Program
Participation in our referral and affiliate program involves tracking referral activity. Limited information about referral conversions may be shared with referring parties to the extent necessary to administer the program.
3.4 Compliance and Safety Disclosures
We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements.
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Thrive, our users, or the public.
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security issues, or technical problems.
3.5 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.
3.6 Aggregated or De-Identified Data
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, analysis, marketing, or other business purposes.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
4.1 What We Use
The Platform uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate, analyze, and improve our services. These include:
- Essential/Session Cookies. Required for the Platform to function, including maintaining your login session, managing your subscription state, and ensuring security. These cookies are necessary and cannot be disabled without affecting Platform functionality.
- Performance and Analytics Cookies. Used to collect information about how you use the Platform, including pages visited, time on page, and content engagement. This data helps us understand usage patterns and improve the Platform.
- Caching Cookies. Used by our hosting provider, SiteGround, to optimize Platform performance and page load times.
- Functionality Cookies. Used to remember your preferences, settings, and choices to provide a more personalized experience.
- GamiPress Tracking. Our gamification system tracks your activity on the Platform to award points, badges, and streaks. This tracking is integral to the gamification features of your subscription.
4.2 Third-Party Cookies
Third-party services integrated with the Platform, including payment processors and analytics tools, may set their own cookies. These cookies are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy.
4.3 Your Cookie Choices
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through browser settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that disabling essential cookies may impair your ability to use certain features of the Platform, including login and subscription management.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you and, where applicable, request a copy of that information in a portable format.
6.2 Correction

6.3 Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (such as information we are required to retain for legal or legitimate business purposes, including transaction records and subscription history).

Please note that even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send you service-related messages necessary to administer your account and subscriptions.
6.5 Account Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription and request closure of your account at any time. Upon account closure, we will retain certain information as described in Section 7 (Data Retention).
6.6 State-Specific Rights
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information is collected and shared, the right to opt out of certain data sharing, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights. 7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:
- Account Information. Retained for the duration of your active account and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
- Subscription and Payment Records. Retained as necessary to comply with financial record-keeping and tax obligations.
- Learning and Assessment Data. Retained for the duration of your account to preserve your course progress, certifications, and assessment history.
- Gamification Data. Points, badges, streaks, and achievement data are retained for the duration of your account.
- Usage and Analytics Data. May be retained in aggregated or de-identified form indefinitely for analytical purposes.
- Partner Application Data. Retained for the duration of the partner relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter.
When personal information is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, we will securely delete or de-identify it in accordance with our data retention practices.
8. Children's Privacy
The Platform is designed for use by 1099 contractors, micro-businesses, and small businesses. It is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete that information. 9. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with and may contain links to third-party services, websites, and applications. These include, but are not limited to:
- Stripe and PayPal for payment processing.
- Sidglo for Pay Zero merchant processing.
- SiteGround for hosting and caching infrastructure.
- The Vendor and SBRO websites are linked through Thrive and the Thrive Deals Marketplace.
Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy and terms of service. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through the Platform. Thrive is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
- Provide notice through the Platform or via email to the address associated with your account.
Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
